New classes added!

Starting in December, there are three new classes on the schedule! Sit a Bit, a meditation class, will be held on Saturday mornings at 7:30. A new 6am class has been added on Wednesdays, and Monday's morning class is now Weekly Wakeup, a class designed to set a powerful intention for the week ahead. Join us in December and discover your new favorite class!

workshop: yoga for stress and anxiety

December 16th 1:00-3:00pm

Stress. Worry. Anxiety. Tension. These are all feelings that take a physical and mental toll. During this workshop you will learn yoga postures, breathing techniques,  meditation exercises, and dietary tips that will leave you feeling relaxed, calm, and peaceful. You will leave this workshop with knowledge of natural ways to bring stillness to your body and mind whether you are at home, work, or in line at the grocery store. All postures and meditations will be light and easy, so no previous experience or knowledge is required.

This workshop is presented by Amanda Spriggs-Sloan, a licensed therapist and certified yoga instructor, and assisted by Brent Sloan, a life coach and certified yoga instructor. The cost for the workshop is $50 in advance and $60 the day of. Christmas day yoga

December 25th 6:15 - 7:30pm

There's nothing better than a yoga class to help unwind after all the holiday festivities! Join us on Christmas evening at 6:15 for a powerful class with your Rebel Yoga community. This special event is included for monthly members and class pass holders, all others will be by donation so be sure to invite friends and family!

Workshop: Introduction to rebel yoga

January 6th 1:00 - 2:30pm

If you have considered coming to yoga class after hearing the great benefits, walking by the studio, or stalking Rebel Yoga for awhile, this a great opportunity for you! We are inviting anyone who has had an interest in coming to Rebel Yoga to this special workshop. During this time you will:

- meet the teachers/owners of the studio
- learn about Rebel Yoga's classes, community, and philosophy
- gain knowledge of Baptiste Yoga and the Journey Into Power sequence
- take "mini classes" (about 10 minutes each) of Rebel Flow for Newbies and Yogis, Power Down, Sit a Bit, and Rebel Flow so you know the perfect class to attend in the future
- learn answers to common questions from those who are new to yoga such as what to bring to a class, how often to practice, and what to wear

You will leave this workshop with a comfort level to return to a familiar space and teachers, as well as an understanding of the steps to take to begin a yoga practice, what it is like to be a part of Rebel Yoga, and the classes you would want to begin attending.
